Picreps

A Picrep - an amalgamation of the words "picture" and "representation" - is an innovative mechanism for delivering information. Small groups of people are guided through the Picrep, and discuss the meaning of its components.PIcreps work.  After all, people told stories and used pictures long before we began to read and write.  Participant evaluations are uniformly high and the learning impact is both immediate and sustained. Picreps can be used for a myriad of topics:  teaching employees about the marketing or financial drivers in a business, risk management or imparting vision and values.

Based on a seafaring theme, this picrep was developed for Cement Australia (then Queensland Cement) and has information about health and safety issues and policy.  This normally dry topic comes alive when presented as an illustration.

The actual size of this particular Picrep is 900 cm by 1200 cm (large enough for a group of 8 - 10 people to easily observe it, when laid on a flat surface).

This Pricrep is a fast-paced board game developed for Hunter Douglas. You can see some of Hunter Douglas' products on the advertising hoards in the game.

The game is based on the four drivers of success in the Hunter Douglas business:  People, Quality, Return on Net Assets Employed and Service. Competitors move around the board, advancing when they correctly answer questions on any of the P,Q, R or S topics.

The group's energy levels are high, the experience is fun, but most importantly the business message is understood by participants.
